FAQs

Welcome to my FAQ section

Here, I've addressed the most frequently asked questions to help provide you with quick and easy answers.

Shipping and Delivery

When will my order be shipped?

All orders will be shipped within 48 hours as long as the item is not a preorder or presale.

If an order includes multiple pins, it will not ship until all pins from that order have arrived. This ensures that shipping remains cost-effective, as rates increase significantly when orders are split and shipped separately.

For international presales:

  • Paris pins are typically shipped at the beginning of the following month of when your order was placed to allow time for all monthly releases to arrive together and help reduce overall shipping costs.
  • Asia pins are usually shipped within 3 weeks.
  • Fantasy presales are shipped as soon as manufacturing is complete and the pins are in hand.

Once any presale pin is in hand, it will be shipped within 48 hours, unless it falls on a Sunday or a federal holiday when the postal service is closed.

Are my pins going to be safe in transport?

Yes! Each pin is carefully bubble-wrapped and packed in either a padded mailer or a box to ensure it arrives safely during shipping.

Fantasy Pins

How can I preorder a fantasy pin?

Once the artwork has been revealed and a presale release date has been announced for a fantasy design, you’ll be able to purchase a presale spot right here on the website under the Fantasy tab of the shop.

I have preordered my pin, how can I stay up to date on the pin process?

After placing a preorder for one of my fantasy pins, you can stay up to date on its progress through my Trello site, where I track each stage of production from artwork approval to shipment.

What is your fantasy pin development process?

  1. Art Commisson:
Once I commission art for a pin and decide to move forward, it goes straight into production. All art costs are paid 100% out of pocket.
  2. Production Payments:
I currently pay a half payment deposit when production begins and the remaining balance before shipment of the pins.
  3. Art Reveals/ Pre Sales:
Art reveals are shared once the artwork is finalized and sent to my manufacturer.
Pre-sales open after I’ve approved the designs and confirmed all details to move forward with production.
All pre-sale spots must be paid in full at the time of claim—these are not interest holds, as the pins are already in active production.
  4. Payment:
You can pay for presales through my website.
  5. Manufacturing Updates:
I typically check in with my manufacturer multiple times a week and share updates as soon as I receive them. You can also stay up to date on every stage of production through my Trello site, which tracks each pin from artwork approval to shipment:

  6. Funding the Pins:
Presale funds help to go toward covering the production balance. Even if pre-sale numbers are low, I use sales from my authentic pins (such as from Whatnot shows) to ensure the pin gets paid for and produced. Pins will be shipped regardless.
  7. Future Series Planning:
Low pre-sale participation may affect whether I continue a series beyond the current release.
  8. Shipping:
Once the pins are in hand, pre-sale buyers are shipped first and provided with tracking info.
  9. Open Communication:
My DMs are always open if you have any questions or concerns, and I do my best to respond in a timely manner to every message.

What stages do the pins go through during manufacturing?

  1. Mold & Pin Material:
Base structure of the pin is formed by creating the mold then pin material for all the pins.
  2. Sample Enamel Fill:
Enamel is filled on one sample in order to approve the enamel colors
  3. Mass Enamel Fill:
All pins are filled with the enamel based on the approved sample
  4. Polishing & Sandblasting:
Pins are polished and any sandblasting texture is added during this step
  5. Gradient Background & Details:
Beautiful gradient details are added to the background and other gradient details
  6. Plating:
Pins are plated with their final metal so that the harsh pin metal is no longer visible
  7. Translucent Fill:
Translucent areas are filled in with their appropriate colors (ex. sandblast translucent fill)
  8. Screen Printing:
Final printed details are added onto the design (ex. shadows, eyes)
  9. Pin on Pin Assembly:
The top and bottom layers are put together for the final product. (if needed)
